Let's Dream
In a fantasy world where time and money were not an issue, what would I want in my lolita wardrobe? I love asking questions like this around this time of year. Let's take a look at some of the dream items that I'd love to focus on either making or purchasing in 2025.

Parameters
Here's are some things that I want to keep in mind, especially for this year:
- I tend to wear lolita around once per week
- Last year, I was MUCH more likely to want to coord a skirt than a JSK or OP, and I wore the skirt for longer before getting uncomfortable
- My weight has been fluctuating a lot lately and I'd like to focus on pieces that are looser, especially around the waist
- I've been itching to add more creativity and personality to my looks
- I literally wear the exact same hair clips in 70% of my coords because they are so comfy, and always regret it when I try to style something else
2025 Sewing Wishlist
skirts
First, I'd love to sew a couple more skirts in 2025. I'm thinking of keeping them similar to my black & white shirred skirt pattern, as this is by far the most worn item in my wardrobe!

I'd also like to try my hand at sewing a blouse! I have very broad shoulders, and especially struggle to find long-sleeved blouses that don't appear 3/4 length on me.

petticoat
As for alterations, I'd like to try to alter my petticoats to be more accessible as my weight fluctuates. I also find that the elastic band can be extremely uncomfortable after long periods of time. I'm thinking of doing an alteration similar to Puvithel's Accessible Petticoat... to be honest, I might end up purchasing one directly from them anyway ^^ (they are doing great things over there!)

Aside from these larger items... I just want to go crazy with hair clips and chokers. Both should be pretty easy to put together, and they are quickly becoming signature items for me.

And finally, I am planning on making a little wardrobe for my kumya! I love sewing tiny outfits for him, and I really brings a personal touch to a coord to be matching with my little friend.

I might add a few other things to this list as the year goes on (since beginning this article I've fallen in love with Heart E's longer skirts and pre-proto lolita) so stay tuned for updates!
